Openness
Knowledge should be accessible to people and institutions across borders.
About
Family Heritage World connects education, research, cultural documentation and international cooperation.
Our mission
To preserve the family and cultural heritage of the peoples of the world and to advance intercultural dialogue through open education, research and international cooperation.
The initiative is in development. Nonprofit registration, governance bodies and programmes are currently planned rather than operational.
Seven values
Values are decision criteria, not decorative words.
01
Knowledge should be accessible to people and institutions across borders.
02
No culture is treated as the norm and difference never becomes a ranking.
03
Sources, context and the limits of knowledge are stated clearly.
04
Political and religious questions are described without advocacy.
05
Work is developed with families, experts and cultural institutions.
06
Digital tools serve preservation, accessibility and translation.
07
Errors are corrected, targets remain separate from results, and decisions are explained.
